Business Class Transit is Belgacom ICS’ primary voice transit product. The aim of Business Class is to ensure “Best Choice Routing” for your customers’ calls.
Our trading team constantly searches for the best available route amongst our 485 interconnections in 138 countries. Their decision is based on: the least cost route for market quality.
The coverage is global, all countries in the world, fixed and mobile destinations, 13 satellites, paging ranges, value-added services when internationally reachable…
Prices fluctuate regularly in order to reflect the best market costs for our customers. Price increases are subject to 7-days notice or shorter in agreement with the customer.
You can connect to Belgacom ICS via one of our points of presence (see “Network”), over the public internet or via dedicated capacity.
Business Class Transit quality commitment is delivered on a “best effort” basis.
QoS parameters, fax transmission, CLI termination (transmission of CLI and CLI information is done transparently to our terminating partner), operator assisted calls… are not guaranteed, however we have built in several processes to ensure that our quality meets our customers expectations. Above quality reporting is available on demand through your Account Manager.
Depending on the type of interconnection, the Business Class Transit offer can easily be combined with our ISDN and videotelephony offerings.

Our dedicated multilingual Voice Team, with in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in the field, is on board 24/7.
Structured Trouble Intake processes are in place and will inform you and give feedback when the trouble is cleared. We also provide you with an intermediate status of your trouble tickets each time you require.
Our target for Business Class trouble tickets resolution is 3 working days – which obviously varies a lot in reality depending on the type and place of the problem.
A multi-dimensional and proactive surpervision is in place and monitoring is done on several sources and types of parameters 24/7. We test the routes before implementation and foresee multiple overflow routes. Additionally, internal procedures are in place to take pro-active and reactive measures in case service failures occur and we reinforce the routing for specific events (New Year, large religious celebrations, global sports events…).
