Apart from connectivity towards our customers via terrestrial and/or submarine cable capacity, Belgacom ICS is also connected to customers via satellite capacity. These customers are mainly located in Africa.
Belgacom ICS uses the Belgacom Intelsat earth stations at Lessive (Belgium) for the connections on the 62°, 335,5° and 342°; as well as the Intelsat earth station at Fuchsstadt (Germany) for operators pointed to other satellites than the ones mentioned.
Belgacom ICS has access to a wide range of satellites from Intelsat via the above mentioned earth stations at Lessive and Fuchsstadt; but has also access to other main satellite operators such as Eutelsat and New Skies Satellites via our Telehouses (Paris, London, New York,...).
