Belgacom International Carrier Services (Belgacom ICS) has invested through Omantel in the deployment of the Europe India Gateway, the first direct, highbandwidth optical-fiber submarine cable system from the United Kingdom to India, also serving Middle East, and Africa. This joint investment in the EIG will enable both companies to optimize their cost structures while securing enough capacity to serve their future needs. |
